First Day on the Slopes!

This post features student writing.

We woke up nice and early today so we could get to the mountain to rent our skies, helmets, pants, and equipment. The mountain offered instructors to guide us around the mountain and teach our first-timers how to ski/snow-board. There was plenty of terrain for all skiers/boarders. A group stopped about a hour and a half into the ski day for a hot chocolate break. A few more advanced skiers went to the top of the mountain where there were great views, and some fresh powder. We had lunch at the base of the mountain where we ate our packed lunches and the mountain BBQ. Everyone took the second half of the day with some easier slopes. We headed back to the Zula Lodge, sat around the fire pit, and enjoyed a relaxing evening.
