32 days, 18 students, 2 leaders, 9 flights, and 0 lost passports.

It’s hard to believe that our program is over. We started a month ago in the Australian Outback as strangers and landed at LAX with lifelong memories and friends. We’ve slept under the stars, in the bottom of an ex-racing yacht in the Whitsundays, at our homestays, and in numerous hostels. We’ve boarded flights, driven in buses, went on a ferry, took the train in Sydney, and even went in a “Party Prius” in Fiji. Throughout it all, we have spread the Putney Spirit and learned what it means to be a traveler versus a tourist. While we have now spread to all corners of the globe, we will always have this summer and we will always have our 32 days of crazy adventures throughout Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji.
